Why alexandrite
Two wavelengths instead of one.
755 nanometres alexandrite for fair skin and fine hair, 1064 nanometres Nd:YAG for darker skin tones. Devices with only one wavelength have to choose — this one does not.
- Not IPL. Flash lamps scatter across a broad spectrum. A laser hits exactly the wavelength the hair absorbs.
- Cooled with every pulse. A burst of cold protects the skin before the light arrives.
