For men
Treat it once,
instead of shaving forever.
Back, shoulders, neck, chest, stomach. The same technology, the same device, the same two wavelengths as any other treatment here — only on areas that carry stronger hair.
Why men come to us
For places you cannot reach yourself
Back, shoulders and neck cannot sensibly be shaved on your own — that is not a comfort problem but a practical one. Anyone who tries anyway ends up with streaks, missed patches and ingrown hairs. It gets treated once, and then the question is gone.
Because constant shaving is tedious
Chest, stomach and the neckline grow back quickly. Shaving two or three times a week means razor burn, stubble on the second day, and starting over. After a completed course the effort disappears, not just the hair.
For sport and everyday life
Cycling, swimming, strength training: anyone who shaves regularly anyway saves themselves the recurring effort. And less sweat is trapped under a shirt.
Which areas we treat on men
- Back and shoulders Upper back, lower back, shoulders, neck — the most common areas for men
- Chest and stomach Chest, areola, stomach line, full stomach
- Neck and beard area Neckline, cheeks, sideburns, the contours of a full beard — the beard stays, the line gets clean
- Arms and legs Upper arms, forearms, hands, thighs, lower legs
- Intimate area and buttocks On request, discussed like any other area
Two packages for larger areas
On men the areas usually sit next to one another, and treated separately they leave visible edges. Treated together the result is even — and the appointment is shorter than two separate ones.
Gentleman's Big Shoulders
Neck, shoulders and the upper half of the upper arms.
Gentleman's Special
Three areas of your choice: upper back, lower back, chest, stomach.
What men ask us beforehand
Does stronger hair need more sessions?
No — rather the opposite. Dark, strong hair contains a lot of melanin and absorbs the light particularly well. What determines the number of sessions is not the thickness of the hair but its growth phase: only what is actively growing can be treated. Hence six to eight appointments four to eight weeks apart, for men as for women.
Does it hurt more on the back?
The back is less sensitive than the face or the intimate area. Before every laser pulse a short burst of cold protects the skin. Most people describe it as considerably more pleasant than waxing.
Do I have to give up my beard?
No. Only what you want treated gets treated — usually the neckline and the contours below the beard. The beard itself stays as it is.
The first appointment is free
We look at the area, treat a test patch and then tell you how many sessions you need and what that costs. A back is a different surface from a stomach line — so the figure is only fixed once we have seen it. What the price depends on is on the prices page.
